Responsibilities

Billing 3rd party payers online (Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Medicare D plans)
Monthly Billing of Nursing Home invoices and Private Pay statements
Re-billing accounts as necessary
Handling phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Assisting in Hospice Account setup
Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualification

Medical Billing experienceCustomer service skillsTyping proficiencyComputer usageVerbal communication skillsWritten communication skillsOrganizational skillsMedical terminologyAttention to detailWork under pressure

Required

High School graduate or equivalency
Excellent customer services skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in typing and computer usage
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Familiarity with medical terminology

Preferred

3-5 years of Medical Billing experience
