Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze cost reports, variance analysis, and gross margin reports
Maintain and update standard costs and Bills of Materials (BOM) in ERP systems
Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and inventory valuation
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost projections
Partner with operations and procurement teams to monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; assist with audits
Provide financial insights for pricing, profitability, and process improvements

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. May Consider equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
4-7 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and GAAP
Proficiency in ERP (SAP) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams
Preferred
CPA or CMA certifications preferred
