The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop and execute print and digital media advertising events, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer engagement.

Responsibilities
Support the ad production end to end process to create compelling and flawlessly executed circular, seasonal books, digital and print advertising materials that will align with Family Dollar brand standards and engage consumers
Proofread ads and seasonal books to support and review for accurate content, spelling and grammar. Make suggestions to layout and item/category adjacencies
Support the soft proofing process within Demand Tec tool and help to drive compliance throughout the merchant community organization
Utilize Retek platform. Partner with Ad Planning and Pricing to upload master promotions from Demand Tec to Retek
Lead store communication across key functional areas and partner with Store Operations to ensure best execution of ads
Partner with internal Marketing teams, merchants, pricing, promotional planning and store operations to ensure all elements are timely, accurate and consistent with current branding
Manage print and digital vendor relationships (Imagine, RRD & Flipp)
Utilize Data to drive advertising recommendations to connect with our customer personas
Support coordination of ad versioning and ensuring accurate production of all versioned ad materials
Proactively manage projects, set up schedules, monitor schedule adherence
All other duties as assigned and needed within the Marketing project flow
Qualification
Required
BA or BS with Marketing Concentration or Equivalent Retail Marketing Role experience of 10 years or more
Attention to detail
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Ability to manage projects through the life cycle
Ability to build and maintain cross functional partnerships
Ability to learn and utilize new processes and new technology
Strong organizational and priority setting skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
Some knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
Some exposure to retail software systems a plus [Retek, Demand Tec]
Internet product search as needed
Preferred
Print Production knowledge is a plus
