Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement: Support the sales process by helping new and existing clients understand their insurance needs and offering appropriate coverage solutions. Build relationships and maintain customer loyalty through excellent service
Learning & Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to become knowledgeable about Farmers’ insurance products, systems, and processes. Learn the ins and outs of the industry with the guidance of a mentor
Mentorship & Collaboration: Work directly with experienced insurance professionals who will provide guidance, advice, and feedback as you progress through the program. Build a network of industry contacts and internal connections
Policy & Product Knowledge: Gain expertise in various insurance products including auto, home, life, and business insurance. Learn to navigate industry tools and software to provide effective and efficient solutions to customers
Problem-Solving & Customer Service: Assist with resolving customer inquiries, claims, or service issues promptly and professionally. Use critical thinking to address challenges and ensure client satisfaction
Career Development: Complete performance milestones and goals with a focus on advancing into a full-time career in insurance after the program's completion. Explore potential career paths within the company, including opportunities in sales, operations, claims, or management
Qualification
Required
An active Property & Casualty and Life, Health & Annuities license or willingness to get with our support within a communicated timeline
No prior insurance experience required. However, customer service, sales, or any relevant professional experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented
Ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems and tools
