City of Seattle is seeking a motivated professional for the role of Administrative Staff Assistant in their Talent Acquisition Team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support in various employment-related duties, including Workday activities and recruitment outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and participate in a variety of hiring related activities
Provide critical Workday data entry and support
Review, research, and triage hiring requests for temporary assignments, out-of-class (OOC) opportunities, and internships for accuracy and completeness
Export Excel reports from Workday, Power BI and other applications for HR staff review
Assist in recruitment outreach efforts

Required

One (1) year of experience in administrative analysis, budget administration or preparation, office management, personnel administration, program administration, as staff assistant, or in a closely related field
Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration or another related field (If no degree, two (2) additional years of qualifying experience is required)
Combinations of appropriate education, training, certification, and experience(s) will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability

Preferred

Experience and familiarity with Workday position management functions
Human resource experience
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate and work effectively within a fast-paced work environment
