Responsibilities
Provide expertise in various aspects of control systems design as well as other functions as required
Design control panels, create electrical schematics, and draft networking details, using AutoCAD
Research and analyze client requests associated with control systems
Participate in planning, cost development, and scheduling for projects
Coordinate with various engineering groups, including electrical and mechanical fields, to assist in designing systems for projects
Develop and test electrical control systems and networks as project requirements dictate
Communicate with clients, vendors, and relevant stakeholders on projects
Perform troubleshooting of electrical systems in the field
Participate in team and group meetings
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or related field
5-10 years of relevant experience in a related field
Knowledge of HMI, PLC, and DCS systems design
Knowledge of control system networking
Knowledge of process control instrumentation
Ability to accurately interpret and critically evaluate design drawings, schematics, and systems
Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality service while under pressure
High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail
Experience working in a factory environment
Familiarity with working in a GMP environment
Ability to work alone or within groups as necessary
Strong work ethic
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in PDF reader/editor (Bluebeam)
