Responsibilities
Providing security and assistance to the general public and employees in buildings during normal shift operations
Opening or closing buildings, answering questions, placing emergency calls, as well as checking doors, lights, and the general physical condition of buildings
Monitoring and logging vehicles entering the Capitol truck roadway, completing visual checks of vehicles, and conducting security checks of individuals
Walking for long periods of time and being on your feet for the majority of your shift
Qualification
Required
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation
A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening and medical examination
