Responsibilities
Lead requirement gathering with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to identify business needs, risks, and optimization opportunities
Conduct workshops, breakout sessions, and interviews to document detailed financial requirements
Translate business needs into BRDs, user stories, and functional specifications
Advise on appropriate technology and tools to meet business requirements
Own As-Is / To-Be process definition for finance functions, including internal controls
Identify automation and optimization opportunities to reduce manual effort
Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards
Serve as SME for SAP S/4HANA Finance modules and integrations (Concur, HR, BRIM, Fieldglass)
Support data governance, data quality, and financial controls
Directly support implementation activities including PaPM MJE automation, allocations, and R3-related configurations
Support change management and training initiatives in partnership with change activation teams
Lead and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution
Ensure business readiness and smooth transition to SAP S/4HANA
Ensure solutions meet GAAP, IFRS, and audit/compliance requirements
Embed controls such as segregation of duties, approvals, and traceability
Support internal and external audits related to SAP S/4HANA
Support project management activities including requirement tracking, Jira updates, and status reporting
Ensure delivery milestones are met from ideation through adoption
Qualification
Required
10+ years as a Business Analyst in Finance / Accounting domains
Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and enterprise finance transformations
Hands-on experience with PaPM (MJE automation)
Deep understanding of financial processes, controls, and compliance
Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation abilities
