BMW of Santa Monica is hiring a General Sales Manager to lead the dealership's sales operations. The role involves strategic leadership across sales, inventory management, and staff performance to meet sales and guest satisfaction objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop Sales Managers, Floor Managers and sales staff to achieve sales volume, gross profit and CSI targets
Establish clear performance expectations, monitor results and address gaps through coaching, training and accountability
Ensure consistent execution of structured sales process, including lead management, test drives and negotiations
Promote the company's guest experience culture with professionalism and a focus on creating long-term guest relationships; ensure all sales practices align with company standards
Work collaboratively with the General Manager and department leaders to align sales goals with overall dealership objectives
Review and analyze sales reports, KPIs and forecasts to drive data-driven decisions
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in automotive dealership leadership
Strong understanding of dealership sales operations, desking, inventory management and Finance processes
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
Solid business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data
Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills
Preferred
Previous experience with BMW strongly preferred
