Responsibilities
Architect, design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, and pages
Integrate AEM with e-commerce systems, DAMs, third-party applications, REST APIs, and Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions
Customize and extend AEM using OSGi services, Sling Models, and workflows
Develop reusable AEM components using HTL (Sightly) and Java
Manage editable templates, content fragments, and experience fragments from both Author and Publisher perspectives
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for AEM development
Support deployments and troubleshooting across Dev, QA, and Production environments
Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide accurate effort estimations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years in software development with at least 5+ years in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x / AEM as a Cloud Service)
Strong Java/J2EE programming expertise
OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, and HTL (Sightly)
Developing custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and schedulers
Knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, caching, and security best practices
Front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Angular is a plus)
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to Adobe Analytics, Target, or Adobe Campaign
Knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG), and performance optimization
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Adobe AEM Developer or Architect Certification preferred
Remediate Adobe Looking Glass report issues
Manage security in AEM production environments
Handle cookie consent tools (ObservePoint, OneTrust)
