The Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments, maintaining records, and processing payroll.

Responsibilities
Processes payroll for W2 and 1099 s
Performs Data entry
Maintains financial accounts reconciliation
Assist with day-to-day accounting and monthly close process
Supports audits and tax functions
Processes payments to external partners through review and approval process
Maintains updated records of invoices and receipts
Supports indirect rate development
Qualification
Required
BA or BS in Business or Finance or Accounting or Degree and Accounting related work experience
Experience with FAR approved accounting systems
Strong preference for Procas accounting system knowledge
Working knowledge of different types of federal contracts and indirect rate development
Accounting background
Experience processing payroll
Familiar with bookkeeping
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
