Design high-quality, real-world geospatial analysis problems to support training and evaluation of frontier AI systems
Develop multi-step GIS workflows involving zoning research, parcel data extraction, and spatial data analysis
Craft tasks requiring navigation of government GIS portals and spatial databases
Create detailed evaluation rubrics to assess AI reasoning and geospatial analysis performance
Apply GIS and spatial analysis expertise to ensure technical accuracy and real-world relevance
Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of research and domain experts
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or PhD in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field from a top institution
Professional experience in spatial analysis, urban planning, or geospatial data science
Familiarity with GIS platforms and government spatial databases such as ArcGIS, QGIS, USGS, or Census Bureau data
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical reasoning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication with high English proficiency
Comfortable working independently in a remote, project-based environment
