7-Eleven is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers while driving sales and ensuring an inviting shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to provide assistance and answer inquiries about products and services

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties

Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to enhance customer understanding and drive sales

Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer relations

Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability

Supervise junior staff members as required, providing guidance and support in daily operations

Uphold phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries, ensuring professionalism at all times

Apply basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions

Required

Proven experience in retail sales with a strong focus on customer service

Apply basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions

Preferred

Experience in supervising staff is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting

Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base

Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial for understanding product offerings and inventory management
