Responsibilities
Exercising general oversight of all technical sections and performing supervisory functions for all staff of the Laboratory Services department
Ensuring that Laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with prudent Medical Laboratory practices
Assuming limited administrative responsibilities for Laboratory operations
Maintaining expertise and performing technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, general department and clerical functions in one or more laboratory section
Qualification
Required
Supervisor license in Medical Technology in the State of Florida
At least five years of experience as a Medical Technologist
Progressive management experience
Preferred
Master's Degree
Certified Medical Technologist (MT)
Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
