Responsibilities

You will receive and process complaints and related investigations concerning residents to leadership
You will participate in regular or periodic deficiency reviews, assemble facts, evaluate information, prepare draft reports and answer to correspondence, coordinate findings with other team members, and develop recommendations
You will work closely with Public Private Venture (PPV) Program Manager assisting applicants and their families with housing needs
You will conduct joint tenant-management walk-throughs of quarters to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of the unit, furnishings, equipment, and facilities
You will schedule and coordinate the maintenance, repair, or other work required and conduct follow-up inspections to verify that discrepancies are corrected
You will monitor maintenance, property management, and service contracts

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements
Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver's license
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide direct on-site management and administration, including planning, developing, scheduling, implementing, and overall technical oversight of the installation Family Housing Services functions, conduct inspections and recommend improvements and corrections of reported conditions
This position allows for substitution of experience, with the following: 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement
