OFFICE ASSISTANT - VP OF DUAL ENROLLMENT & CONTINUING EDUCATION POOL
Del Mar College is a corporate services institution, and they are seeking an Office Assistant to provide clerical and direct support to the division of Dual Enrollment and Continuing Education. The Office Assistant will serve as the front-line customer service representative with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Greeting and assist visitors, students, and others in a courteous and professional manner
Document, verify, and maintain divisional paperwork to ensure uniformity, accuracy and completeness of information
Maintains divisional documents on shared document drive
Provide routine clerical support; and monitor the office/building area cleanliness and maintenance
Other duties may be assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalency
Six (6) months office/clerical related experience
Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy maintaining records
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, faculty, staff and public
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills
Preferred
Higher education experience
Knowledge of Datatel Colleague and WebDMC
One (1) year related experience in an office setting
