Responsibilities
Performs analysis functions to assist in the development and implementation of new systems, the revision of existing systems, and provides project management for assigned special projects
Provides and coordinates programming resources for all applications
Functions as liaison with other IS teams and business partners and maintains project tracking information
Demonstrates an understanding of the technical aspects of applications, as well as the operational details, work flows and how applications are used in the department
Provides analysis functions in support of new or upgraded vendor, in-house computing systems and special projects
Participates in requirements gathering and documentation
Participates in the development, testing and follow-up evaluation of system design and projects
Assists departments in applications system management functions
Develops a system to ensure the effective maintenance of security for all applications supported
Provides training and assistance to team members
Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
Prior Clinical Engineering (Bio-Med) experience
Prior basic Windows Administration experience
Prior basic network experience
Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant work experience or the equivalent
Organizational, analytical, and self-motivational skills
Strong verbal, written, and listening skills
Attention to detail, motivation, and dependability
Ability to make decisions independently
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to handle fluctuating workloads while working within deadlines
Preferred
Project management and application testing skills are desirable
Has vendor application certification/proficiency or earns it within 12 months of hire
