Responsibilities

Leading strategic development for a beauty campaign platform—bringing clarity, meaning, and direction
Develop a clear engagement methodology that outlines how you’ll diagnose the current state, translate inputs into insights, and move from insight → strategy → creative direction
Translate existing data into human insights (how women engage with the category across age groups and needs)
Responsible for conducting trend and category research to develop consumer insights and creative opportunities
May require consumer intercepts to gain reactions to creative and refine development
Build and refine the campaign narrative + messaging architecture that connects brand to product
Provide strategic guidance across multiple product lines
Help the creative team stay focused—steering the work when it starts to drift
Confidently defend the strategy with internal stakeholders in a constructive way
Set the stage for future work by establishing a strategic foundation that can carry forward

Required

7-10 years in creative strategy / brand strategy (senior autonomy; can lead without heavy oversight)
Deep beauty category experience
Proven ability to translate data and inputs into human consumer insights and clear creative direction
Strong executive presence—able to influence, challenge constructively, and defend strategy with senior stakeholders
Experience developing a clear engagement methodology (phased approach, working plan, decision points)
Demonstrated ability to drive internal alignment through workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills (can simplify complexity and make it actionable for creative teams)

Preferred

Experience in a highly matrixed, global CPG brand environment with rigorous brand standards
Experience partnering with in-house creative studios and brand teams
