Industrial Engineer

They are seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer to analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and labor utilization while collaborating with various teams to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, workflows, and labor utilization
Conducting time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and standard work development
Supporting layout planning, material flow, and ergonomic improvements on the shop floor
Partnering with supervisors and operators to document and maintain SOPs and work instructions
Collaborating with EH&S to integrate safety considerations into process design and improvements
Supporting ergonomic assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and risk-reduction initiatives
Working with the Quality team to support root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and process consistency
Collecting, analyzing, and presenting operational data related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost
Developing reports, dashboards, and visual management tools
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
2–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Ability to work effectively with production supervisors and hourly operators
High attention to detail and ability to analyze data to drive improvements
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred
Experience supporting EH&S initiatives or working closely with safety professionals
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
Experience developing SOPs, standard work, and operator training documentation
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher)
Experience in discrete or engineered-to-order manufacturing environments
