Assistant Analyst - State Filings

As an Assistant Analyst for State Filings, you will provide foundational support for the State Filing consulting team, assisting in research, documentation, and data management to help deliver insights that drive clients' businesses forward.

Responsibilities

Draft and submit Rate, Rule, and Form filings for all states and Property & Casualty lines of business. Prepare and complete the necessary transmittals
Assist with tracking and managing state filing objections. Work with key stakeholders to address and respond to the objections in a timely manner
Monitor the status of state filing projects. Collaborate with the team to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met
Conduct targeted research using public and proprietary insurance resources to support client projects
Track bureau changes, updates to industry regulations and market trends (as needed) to keep our teams informed and ahead of the curve
Actively participate in internal strategy meetings and training sessions to build your insurance and consulting expertise
Collect, organize, and synthesize data for use in client-facing reports and internal strategic projects
Perform meticulous data entry and formatting for regulatory filings, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance
Assist in managing internal databases to ensure information is current and accessible
Support the creation of professional draft documents, presentations, and client deliverables
Maintain organized project files and contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal templates and tools

Required

1-2 years of progressive rate, rule, and form filing experience in Property and Casualty insurance, preferably Commercial Lines
High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree (or in progress) preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues
Strong aptitude for collecting, organizing, and reviewing data for accuracy
Demonstrated ability to perform thorough and accurate research utilizing a variety of resources such as online databases and industry-specific publications
The ability to draft and format clear, concise, and professional documents, presentations, and reports
Experience with converting pdf files to Word and Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous focus on accuracy, particularly when performing data entry, quality checks, and managing project documentation
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, follow directions from senior team members, and contribute to a shared goal
Adaptability & Eagerness to Learn with a proactive approach to learning about new processes, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organized project files, and prioritize work to meet deadlines
