Jr. Project Manager
Compu-Vision Consulting Inc. is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support project administration and management tasks. The role involves coordinating deployments, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring adherence to project schedules while providing troubleshooting support for end-user devices.

Responsibilities
Coordinate all deployments assigned by the Directors or Manager of End User Innovations
Collaborate closely with EITS Finance, ensuring their awareness of forthcoming coordinated procurements and the estimated financial resources required for fulfillment
Collaborate with Project Leads and EUI Technicians to ensure the fulfillment of deployment deliverables
Unbox, assemble, configure, and deploy end-user devices across the System
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with end-user devices, including the ability to identify and proactively address recurring device issues specific to the assigned Project
Accurately and promptly record deployment checklists, documentation, release forms, asset information, work logs, and other project activities in the designated system, including the date, time, activity summaries, workforce members, and all requisite data elements for appropriate tracking and recording of the Special Projects
Provide direct troubleshooting of end-user devices to resolve issues in a timely manner
Adhere to established deployment schedules and timelines to ensure that project/department milestones/goals are achieved
Required to travel to the various facilities within the five boroughs
Escalate restoration activities that exceed the scope to the End User Innovations team for resolution
Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems related to network connectivity, workstation hardware or software, and applications, leveraging tool capabilities and methodologies to load, copy, and customize operating system configurations
Perform work in compliance with specified warranty requirements and return defective equipment or parts to maintenance inventory, document customer repairs, and maintain and restock assigned parts inventory
Maintain, follow, and consistently demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of EITS and New York City Health + Hospitals guidelines, processes, practices, and procedures
Ensure adequate support to clients and provide professional customer service to end-users for project implementations
Be prepared and willing to execute any other reasonable instruction or task correctly and punctually
Manage time efficiently and effectively, establish priorities appropriately, schedule calls, maintain a professional demeanor under stress, and operate within the standard operating procedures
May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

The Junior Project Manager within the Epic PMO (Program Management Office) is a management-support associate responsible for project administration and support
Under the direction of multiple Program Managers or the Project Director, they will oversee the completion of project tasks and monitor adherence to perpetual project management process standards
The Epic Program Management Office will rely on the Junior Project Manager to follow up on due dates, open items, track issues, meeting minutes, etc
They apply their knowledge of the best practices for project administration to their key duties, including resource allocation, task planning and progress reporting
Candidate must be flexible and adaptive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
He / She must also be detail oriented and build trust through consistent work product delivery and reliable relationships
In the absence of a Program Manager or the Project Director, Junior Project Managers may monitor work efforts, assign resources, delegate tasks and report progress to senior managers and various stakeholders
Supports Program Management Office and documents project-related assignments, issues and risks
Junior Project Manager should be technically astute and assist with creating reports and presentations using a variety of office productivity tools
Junior Project Manager should aim to improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
Support the Project Management Team by providing prompt and thorough meeting notes, status reports, and other key documentation
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products including Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with the Agile Method is desirable
Prior experience in Healthcare, particularly in a Hospital Acute Care Setting is desirable
