NEOGOV is seeking an Equal Opportunity Specialist 3 to join the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). In this role, you will manage the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program, ensuring compliance with contractual goals and providing technical assistance to contractors and trainees.

Responsibilities

Analyzing OJT goals and reports to ensure contractors’ compliance with contractual goals and special provisions
Administering/monitoring special OJT/SS projects solicited by Pennsylvania’s FHWA Division Office
Evaluating monthly reports to ensure progress toward increasing the effectiveness of approved OJT training programs and identifying problems for resolution
Maintaining detailed records and conducting follow-up reviews regarding the employment status of graduates
Collaborating with contractors to establish specific performance goals and assess effectiveness of activities
Performing the full range of supervisory duties for two Equal Opportunity Specialist 2s

Required

One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Three years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes two years of professional experience, and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
