Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean, create and execute a rich, nurturing, and supportive experience for LL.M. students from orientation through graduation, collaborating with the Program Manager and colleagues across the College of Law
Work with the Associate Dean to develop and execute onboarding and orientation programs for LL.M. students
Annually create, review, and update processes, policies, messages, resources, and content for LL.M. student onboarding and matriculation requirements, including bar exam information
Monitor compliance with mandatory University trainings and follow up with students as needed
Collaborate with the Associate Dean to create and execute professional development programs, workshops, academic programs, social events, and other activities for LL.M. students
Gain and maintain expertise in bar admission rules for foreign-trained lawyers; serve as the contact for students with respect to bar examination questions
Host information sessions and webinars for students on bar examination requirements and procedures; maintain data on bar passage rates for LL.M. students
Serve as an academic advisor to LL.M. students, providing guidance on course selection, program requirements, and academic planning
Create student feedback and data collection processes, such as surveys, throughout the academic year
Supervises staff and manages resources and administrative processes to ensure that the goals and objectives of the projects and programs offered by the Office of International and Graduate Studies of the College of Law are accomplished. Evaluates program operation in meeting stated objectives in coordination with the Office of International and Graduate Studies of the College of Law
Prepare for and stay current on all recruiting presentations; participate in online and in-person recruiting and yield events as needed. Lead efforts to promote and advertise the LL.M. program locally, nationally, and internationally
Review applications for admission, attend selection committee meetings, interview applicants as needed, and assist in making admission and merit-based award recommendations and decisions
In coordination with the Associate Dean, monitor, report on, and evaluate LL.M. program performance; implement policies and ensure compliance with applicable procedures and standards. Recommend changes to LL.M. program policies and procedures to improve student experience and program effectiveness
Work with the Program Manager to develop and refine policies and practices that optimize LL.M. program operations
Develop and implement assessment plans for the LL.M. program to comply with university and ABA accreditation requirements.Collect, analyze, and report data on student learning outcomes, program effectiveness, and student satisfaction
Track and analyze LL.M. student academic performance, retention rates, graduation rates, and post-graduation outcomes. Prepare annual program reports and assessment documentation for internal review and external accreditation bodies
Represent the LL.M. program and Office of Graduate Studies and Global Engagement at internal and external meetings and events
Participate as a member of College of Law, campus, and university committees relevant to graduate legal education and international student support

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field and six (6) years of related work experience or Master's degree in business, education, or related field and four (4) years of related work experience
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and at locations outside of the University

Preferred

Law degree from a U.S. institution (no bar admission required) and 3-5 years of administrative, teaching, or research experience
Working knowledge of Spanish and other languages desired
