Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment
Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and access control
Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections with internal teams and external contractors
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, environmental regulations)
Maintain accurate asset tracking and equipment lifecycle management
Oversee warehouse organization, materials handling, and storage optimization
Select, negotiate, and supervise third-party vendors for maintenance, cleaning, safety, and operational services
Monitor vendor performance, contracts, and service level agreements
Qualification
Required
Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1 + years of experience in site operations, facility management, logistics, or a similar role
Understanding of building systems, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Experience managing vendors, budgets, and facility projects
Ability to troubleshoot operational issues
Experience in biotech, manufacturing, or laboratory environments
Relevant experience dealing with contractors on building and/or equipment repairs
Preferred
Bilingual preferred: Strong communication skills in Spanish or Chinese
