SnapCode Inc is seeking a Senior AWS Engineer / Architect with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on AWS cloud experience. The role involves designing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native applications on AWS while ensuring cost optimization and high availability.

Responsibilities

Proven experience in designing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native applications on AWS
Strong knowledge of cost optimization strategies, including reserved instances, savings plans, and workload right-sizing
Expertise in autoscaling, load balancing, and high-availability architecture across regions and zones
Experience in migrating workloads from on-prem or other clouds to AWS
Ability to evaluate and tune performance of compute, storage, and database layers
Good understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery planning
Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and business teams

Required

Minimum 5 years (hands-on AWS cloud experience)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional (mandatory)
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native applications on AWS
Strong knowledge of cost optimization strategies, including reserved instances, savings plans, and workload right-sizing
Expertise in autoscaling, load balancing, and high-availability architecture across regions and zones
Experience in migrating workloads from on-prem or other clouds to AWS
Ability to evaluate and tune performance of compute, storage, and database layers
Good understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery planning
Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and business teams

Preferred

Experience with EKS, ECS, Lambda, and serverless architectures
Familiarity with FinOps practices for ongoing cost governance
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
