Responsibilities
Own the US product experience. Lead design across voice discovery, onboarding, and core editing workflows. You'll define how creators find the right voice, experience their first "aha moment," and integrate Typecast into their content workflow
Find high-impact opportunities. Dig into user research, analyze behavior data, and identify where design can drive meaningful business outcomes. Translate insights into clear problem definitions that guide the team
Craft experiences creators love. Design solutions that are intuitive, fast, and genuinely delightful. Run experiments, measure results, and iterate based on what you learn
Collaborate across time zones. Work closely with our US-based PM and Growth Manager day-to-day. Partner with Korea-based engineers through async-first communication, with sync meetings as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years designing consumer or creator-facing products
You've shipped discovery, onboarding, or content creation experiences
You have a portfolio that shows end-to-end ownership and real outcomes
You find problems worth solving
You ship awesome solutions
You thrive with autonomy
Preferred
Experience with creator tools, audio/video products, or content platforms
Background in activation/onboarding optimization or growth design
Familiarity with A/B testing and data-informed iteration
Understanding of short-form content workflows (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels)
Korean language proficiency for collaboration with Korea-based team
