Responsibilities
Knowledge on all areas of networking including but not limited to Microsoft365, Active Directory, PowerShell, firewalls, switches, routers, cabling standards, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, VMware, VPN, DHCP, DNS, etc
Good communication skills, the ability to work with a team, to be a self-starter, and the ability/willingness to learn new technologies
Managing mail flow, hybrid configurations, distribution groups, and retention policies while ensuring strong security, anti-phishing and anti-spam policies, encryption, and eDiscovery
Proficiency in Azure Active Directory, conditional access, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and single sign-on (SSO)
Automating administrative tasks with PowerShell, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting mail delivery or authentication issues
Leading migrations from on-premises Exchange environments to Microsoft 365
Collaborating across IT and business teams, creating clear documentation, and providing training on email security and best practices
Maintaining and troubleshooting physical infrastructure such as switches, routers, cabling, and server hardware, VPN configurations, DHCP/DNS services, and other critical systems
Qualification

Preferred
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5-8+ years of IT experience with emphasis in network infrastructure, operations, and administration
Demonstrated experience managing mail flow, hybrid configurations, distribution groups, and retention policies while ensuring strong security, anti-phishing and anti-spam policies, encryption, and eDiscovery
