They are seeking a Lead Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and simulation of mixed-signal integrated circuit components for quantum processors, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, specification, design, and simulation of mixed-signal integrated circuit components for quantum processors
Lead the development of circuits, IP blocks, and entire ICs within a growing IC development team
Plan for testing and verification and work with test engineers to execute test plans
Consult with other technical teams and strategic stakeholders to set development goals and requirements and contribute to creating and maintaining project plans
Communicate the design, function, requirements, and constraints of integrated circuits to the broader organisation
Mentor junior and senior engineers in IC design
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and commercial teams
Guide setup and maintenance of EDA tools for custom and digital design workflows
Qualification
Required
You have broad and extensive experience in analog and/or mixed-signal integrated circuit design
You have led multiple integrated circuit design projects and excel in both technical leadership and people management
You're comfortable researching new topics, thinking outside the box, and working with cross disciplinary teams to find novel solutions
You're a strategic thinker who is keen to contribute to guiding Diraq's technical development
You're an excellent communicator, able to translate and explain technical concepts to colleagues with varying fields of expertise
You have a quality mindset with experience in design for test, silicon test strategies and robust documentation
You're proficient with industry standard EDA tools, scripting languages, version control, and Linux OS
You're excited by quantum computing and want to grow your career in a cutting-edge startup
Preferred
Ideally you would have experience with ultra-low power implementations and cryogenic circuit operation
