Responsibilities
Handle a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases, serving as the lead attorney through all stages of litigation, from filing to trial
Develop case strategies and theories tailored to client needs
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Take and defend depositions, including those involving plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses
Conduct settlement negotiations and represent clients in mediations
Act as second chair during trials, collaborating with the trial team
Maintain consistent client communication to provide case updates
Supervise and guide paralegal and support staff activities
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years in plaintiff personal injury litigation
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership with the California State Bar in good standing
Proven ability to manage and resolve high-value cases independently
Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
High ethical standards and a commitment to professional integrity
Preferred
Trial experience is not mandatory but highly preferred
