Local Technical Support Provider II
The University of Memphis is a leading urban public R1 research institution located in Memphis, Tennessee. They are seeking a Local Technical Support Provider II to perform various activities related to information technology, including technical design implementation and maintenance of systems and services.

Responsibilities
Examines, diagnoses, and corrects hardware and software problems; documents resolutions in the help desk ticketing systems. (20%)
Provides direct and remote support to IT clients; answers questions regarding systems; maintains user accounts. (20%)
Learns more advanced skills for troubleshooting computer, software, and network issues. (15%)
Learns to clean and update Exchange/Active Directory; manages AD structures and sub OUs. (10%)
Learns to engage with vendors and to develop good working relationships with other ITS units. (10%)
Researches department technology needs; consults and advises on acquisition of new technology. (10%)
Researches, evaluates, recommends, and installs new hardware and software. (5%)
Communicates both in writing and in speech in a friendly and clear manner. (5%)
Other duties as assigned. (5%)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in relevant area
Two years of appropriate experience
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
