Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
Reconcile general ledger accounts (cash, inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc.)
Enter, review, and maintain financial data, including manual data entry across accounting systems
Compile, clean, and organize financial data from multiple systems into consolidated reports
Support month-end and year-end close, including financial statement preparation
Analyze budget-to-actual variances and assist with explanations
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes as needed
Collaborate with operations and our external accounting provider
Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong accounting foundation
Experience with journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
Ability to reconcile general ledger accounts (cash, inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc.)
Experience with entering, reviewing, and maintaining financial data across accounting systems
Ability to compile, clean, and organize financial data from multiple systems into consolidated reports
Experience supporting month-end and year-end close, including financial statement preparation
Ability to analyze budget-to-actual variances and assist with explanations
Knowledge of GAAP and company accounting policies
Experience assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Ability to collaborate with operations and external accounting providers
