EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff. The role involves overseeing briefings, assisting in the development of reports and presentations, and managing information related to ongoing projects and activities.

Responsibilities
Provide dedicated executive assistant support to the Chief of Staff (COS) and Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS)
Oversee the administration of all briefings involving the senior staff
Assist in the development of reports and presentations; develop and maintain documents, electronic spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations; manage information in databases or lists; and conduct research via the Internet, telephone and other means
Conduct progress checks of on-going activities and projects to ensure that policies, timeliness and information are properly presented
Review a wide range of information from the Agency staff elements, administrative publications and forms, programs and policies

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination

This is a drug testing designated position
For the GS-11; Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-9 or higher grade in Federal Service
For the GS-12; Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service
Qualified applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-09 for GS-11 positions, and GS-11 for GS-12 positions, within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required
For GS-11, Specialized experience is defined as: Experience scheduling and maintaining the calendar for senior management officials; OR experience assisting in the development of reports and presentations for senior management officials
For GS-12, Specialized experience is defined as: Experience coordinating administrative responsibilities which may include administrative planning, assisting with briefings, projects, policies or engagements, OR tracking progress of priorities to ensure action items and suspense dates are met
There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level
Substitution of Education for Experience at the GS-11 grade level: You MUST provide transcripts to validate substitution of education claim
For the GS-11 level: Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement
Equivalent combinations of successfully completed higher-level graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements
To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application
If you are using education to qualify for this position you will need to submit your unofficial/official transcripts with your application. Failure to provide transcripts, or a determination that you do not possess the education requirement, will result in objection to your qualifications, and removal from consideration in accordance with competitive examining procedures
