This role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors in an Agile environment to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, validate solutions, and support system delivery.

Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user needs, and business processes for application and system improvements
Translate business requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria
Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of user stories to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met
Develop and execute test cases, including manual and mobile application testing
Analyze program policies and procedures to assess impacts on automated systems
Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and support solution proposals
Review and contribute to project deliverables such as project charters, plans, test plans, and risk documentation
Consult on application analysis, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend solutions
Develop training materials and support or conduct training sessions for internal and external users
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and end users to validate requirements and support system delivery
Qualification
Required
8+ years of senior-level experience as a Business Analyst in applications or software development
Strong experience working in Agile environments, including user story creation and participation in all Agile ceremonies
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
Proven background in quality assurance, including test case development and manual testing
Experience translating business requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
Availability to work 100% on-site in Austin, TX
