Responsibilities
Lead the design, analysis, and review of structural systems for a wide range of projects, including buildings, bridges, and other civil structures
Prepare and review calculations, plans, specifications, and reports; ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements
Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and project teams; foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients; attend meetings, present solutions, and maintain strong client relationships
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design specifications
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
Active Hawaii Professional Structural Engineer (SE) license required
8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably in consulting
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, Revit, AutoCAD)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated leadership abilities
Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
