Responsibilities
Designing and building modern web application features using JavaScript and a contemporary frontend framework (Svelte preferred)
Deploying and maintaining services using Docker-based workflows
Integrating AI-powered tools (as end-user features, not model development)
Building and consuming RESTful APIs, primarily in Python
Supporting integration work with desktop applications (Qt for Python), as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience working with Docker for development and deployment
Experience integrating external services or APIs, including AI-powered tools
Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control
Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs
~5+ years of professional software development experience
Someone comfortable working independently and making thoughtful technical decisions
Clear communicator who's comfortable working in a small, async-first team
Preferred
Svelte preferred; React or Vue.js experience is also welcome
Proficiency in Python for backend development
Experience with AWS-based infrastructure
Familiarity with both web and desktop application development
Experience with Qt for Python
Familiarity with Golang
Experience with Ollama or similar local AI tooling
