Corporate/Transactional Litigation Attorney (5+ yrs)
GPAC is a St. Louis-based law firm seeking a Corporate/Transactional Litigation Attorney to join its team. This role involves a mix of litigation and deal-related work across sophisticated matters, focusing on client objectives and legal strategy.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and transactional materials
Manage matters spanning real estate, banking, corporate, M&A, or Estate Planning
Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions to achieve client objectives
Review and analyze documents and evidence to prepare for litigation and transactional proceedings
Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and internal procedures
Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies
Stay current on relevant laws and regulations impacting multiple practice areas
Qualification
Required
JD from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in good standing
Strong writing, drafting, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
Preferred
Prior experience in litigation and/or transactional law strongly preferred
Experience across real estate, banking, corporate, M&A, or estate planning is a plus
Partial book of business ($200+)
