FP&A Lead

Inspiren is a company focused on creating a connected ecosystem in senior living, founded by a former Green Beret and nurse. They are seeking an FP&A Lead who will drive growth and operational efficiency through financial modeling, budget analysis, and strategic financial insights.

Responsibilities

Own the Financial Model: Architect and maintain the company’s three-statement financial model, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning scenarios
FP&A Leadership: Lead the monthly/quarterly budget vs. actuals analysis, identifying variances and working with department heads to manage burn and optimize spend
Strategic Analysis & Unit Economics: Dive deep into our metrics - LTV/CAC, payback periods, gross margin analysis, and hardware vs. SaaS revenue streams to ensure sustainable growth
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage internal data sources to drive ad-hoc strategic analysis and uncover trends in our operational data that can inform financial strategy
Board & Investor Reporting: Prepare high-impact presentation materials for Board of Directors meetings and investor updates, telling the story behind the data

Qualification

Required

5–8 years of relevant experience in some mix of strategic finance, FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or growth investing
Experience at a high-growth SaaS or hardware-enabled software company
Proficient with modern FP&A and accounting tools
Comfortable working with large datasets
Understand the nuances of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, NRR)
Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights
Ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders
Possess the confidence to challenge assumptions when necessary
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting

Preferred

MBA or CFA is a plus
Experience managing hardware/inventory finance (working capital, supply chain costs)
