Administrative Associate II (Temporary Solutions)
The NC Office of State Human Resources is responsible for providing a solid Human Resource management foundation. They are seeking an Administrative Associate II to handle front desk operations and provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, faculty, staff, and the general public by providing courteous and professional reception services
Answer and route incoming telephone calls; provide general information and refer inquiries to appropriate departments or personnel
Manage visitor access in accordance with established office security and access control procedures
Perform copying, printing, scanning, mail distribution, and other routine office support tasks
Maintain reception and common office areas in an orderly and professional manner
Assist with basic recordkeeping, filing, and document preparation
Provide administrative support to staff and assist other departments or sections as needed to support office operations
Follow college system, and departmental policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Experience providing courteous and professional reception services
Ability to answer and route incoming telephone calls
Experience managing visitor access in accordance with established office security and access control procedures
Experience performing copying, printing, scanning, mail distribution, and other routine office support tasks
Ability to maintain reception and common office areas in an orderly and professional manner
Experience assisting with basic recordkeeping, filing, and document preparation
Ability to provide administrative support to staff and assist other departments or sections as needed
