Postdoctoral Fellow - Lymphoma-Myeloma - Research
Komen Graduate Training Program UT MDACC is focused on understanding the molecular etiology of B-cell lymphoma and developing novel therapeutic strategies. The postdoctoral fellow will design and execute experiments, analyze complex datasets, and lead independent research projects aimed at advancing knowledge in lymphoma research.

Responsibilities
Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments with the highest standards of rigor and reproducibility
Lead independent research projects from initial concept through to publication
Analyze and interpret complex datasets, including in vitro, in vivo, and -omics data
Present research findings at internal meetings as well as national and international conferences
Contribute to grant proposals and assist with manuscript preparation for peer-reviewed publications
Qualification
Required
PhD degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, genome science or a related field
Strong computational background
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, Perl, C++, Java)
Knowledge of biostatistics
Experience working in high-performance computing cluster environment
Experience working with single cell RNA/ATAC, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, Hi C, or other large-scale genomics data analysis
Preferred
Good understanding of cancer biology
Understanding of cell signaling pathways
Understanding of drug response mechanisms
