1+ years expApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Process Development Associate for a 12+ month contract position with a biopharmaceutical company. This lab-based role will support the development, characterization, scale-up, and support of upstream and downstream processes to enable the clinical advancement of various programs.

Responsibilities
Work on culturing mammalian cells, maintaining bioreactors, and sampling bioreactors
Perform protein chromatography, filtration, and UF/DF operations
Contribute to laboratory operations, organization, and 5S initiatives
Apply established platform approaches and utilize problem-solving skills to rapidly solve day-to-day experimental challenges
Integrate into various teams to assist in both upstream cell culture and downstream purification experiments
Complete tasks in an independent manner and learn quickly about bioprocessing
Qualification
Required
Must have lab experience and at least one year working on similar projects
Experience with mammalian cell culture and/or protein chromatography
Basic understanding of protein chromatography, filtration, or cell culture principles
Ability to work on-site daily, including a weekend work requirement of 1-2 weekend days a month (for 3-4 hours total)
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of scientific experience
Only candidates available and ready to work directly as ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position
Preferred
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or other relevant sciences
Hands-on experience with purification operations
Familiarity with 5S principles and organization of laboratory workspaces
Prior experience with data analytical tools (Excel, Spotfire, etc.)
Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
A team player with the ability to successfully work within a diverse team in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
