Responsibilities

Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets with new and existing customers in assigned geographic territory
Assists customers with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
Seeks and develops new potential customers, becomes actively involved in new sales orientation and sales training programs
Contract negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for contract accounts
Assists with the planning of sales exhibits and trade shows
Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs

Required

Industrial Sales experience in Material Handling Systems, Conveyor Belts and Conveyor Components
Overnight travel is required, 50% plus
Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets with new and existing customers in assigned geographic territory
Assists customers with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
Seeks and develops new potential customers, becomes actively involved in new sales orientation and sales training programs
Contract negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for contract accounts
Assists with the planning of sales exhibits and trade shows
Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs
Five plus years of industrial sales experience with belting industry preferred
Hands-on knowledge of association's needs and capabilities
Excellent formal presentation skills before both small and large groups
Experience managing large territories and diverse product offerings
Coaching/mentoring experience with less senior sales staff
A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends, association needs and possible application of various products
Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer literate
