Senior Director of Operations, Technology

Responsibilities
Initiate, direct and outline strategies, policies and systems for the Technology. Ensure alignment with the strategic, corporate and operational directives of the organization
Create and analyze key insights from forecasts, key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics
Identify consistent issues across the Technology team, break them into manageable components and create solutions with measurable results
Prepare dashboards and presentations to report to Technology Leadership team on KPIs, metrics and processes
Responsible for compiling and rolling up metrics for BOD and other Technology Organization presentations
Tracks KPIs, analyze them to understand what’s going well and what’s not. Drives behavior, process, and strategy changes according to KPIs and metrics
Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing
Conduct periodic reviews of key processes within the team to ensure they are executed, communicated and implemented in the most efficient way and are aligned with strategy
Identify duplicate spending and opportunities for consolidation within budgets
Manage Technology budget with monthly forecast vs. actuals; provide details of cost overruns and underruns per category by working closely with the Finance Business Partner
Partner with Product and CS Leaders to review road maps to ensure staffing aligns with organizational goals
Key contributor in annual budget planning efforts for Technology
Build and nurture strong relationships with the cross functional teams (Product, Finance, CS) and other functional operations leaders to ensure alignment and awareness across the entire organization
Identify/implement opportunities for continuous improvement across all areas including onboarding, performance management, technical support and two-way communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field
10+ years of professional experience in a SaaS/recurring revenue business; 5 years within Engineering
Thorough understanding of KPI's and metrics used to evaluate Technology operations
Self-motivated and organized to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion with excellent results under minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and decision-making skills
Familiarity with software (ex. Salesforce, Gainsight, etc.) and support platforms (ex. Zendesk)
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills
Detail and process-oriented, with ability to meet deadlines and achieve aggressive KPI's
Ability to build and foster relationships at all levels of the organization
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to research, analyze, develop, and recommend processes and procedures to improve the overall Technology operations
Drive efficiencies and consistency among teams
