They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records while providing reliable financial insights and reporting to management.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, laws, and internal policies
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support budgeting and financial planning
Respond to management requests and support internal and external audit processes
Maintain and manage general ledger activities and chart of accounts
Document accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls
Assist with tax audits and tax return processes
Monitor changes in accounting regulations and implement best practices
Coordinate with external auditors and relevant stakeholders
Mentor junior accounting staff and support team development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
In-depth understanding of US GAAP; willingness to learn IFRS differences
Experience with general ledger operations and close processes
Advanced MS Excel skills (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
Preferred
Hands-on experience with SAP
CPA preferred
