Responsibilities
Execute Manual Event Testing: Perform end-to-end manual validation of event tracking across our web and mobile applications to ensure Mixpanel events trigger exactly as defined
Audit Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits of our Mixpanel Lexicon to ensure property names, data types, and formatting remain consistent with our tracking plan
Troubleshoot Discrepancies: Act as a data detective to identify why specific events are missing or firing incorrectly, using tools like Chrome DevTools and proxy debuggers
Maintain the Tracking Plan: Partner with Product and Engineering to update our "Source of Truth" documentation (Data Dictionary) as we launch new features like Slab Packs™ or live trading
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Data and Engineering teams to verify fixes in staging environments before they hit our production showrooms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/BSc)
1–3 years of professional experience in QA, Data Analytics, or a Product Support role, with a strong emphasis on data integrity
Proven hands-on experience navigating Mixpanel (Live View, Lexicon, and Report building)
Proficiency with Browser Developer Tools (Network tab) and API testing tools like Postman to validate event triggers and JSON payloads
Solid understanding of SQL basics (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) to perform cross-verification between frontend events and backend database records
Familiarity with the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and working within Agile/Scrum environments
An obsessive eye for detail and a 'collector's mindset'—you understand that in a marketplace, trust is built on accurate data
Preferred
Certifications (Bonus): ISTQB Foundation Level or similar QA certifications are a plus
