Responsibilities
Lead the entire technical development process of the project, organize the technical team to formulate and optimize technical schemes (natural gas system + power support), review construction plans and equipment selection, and resolve major technical issues during development, construction and operation
Oversee on-site construction technical work, ensure the construction unit implements the project in accordance with the technical scheme, control construction quality and technical specifications, coordinate technical engineers to provide on-site technical guidance, and address technical emergencies during construction
Manage the technical engineer team (natural gas + electrical), assign technical work tasks, conduct technical training and daily supervision, enhance the team’s technical capabilities, and ensure the efficient execution of technical work
Collaborate with the Project General Manager to complete compliance approval and acceptance-related work, prepare technical compliance documents, coordinate with regulatory authorities for technical inquiries and on-site inspections, and ensure the technical scheme meets compliance requirements
Liaise with the Marketing Department to integrate market research results, translate market demands into key technical scheme points; report technical progress and risks to the Project General Manager, and coordinate with the headquarters on technical matters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above, major in Natural Gas Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
A minimum of 8 years of energy project technology development experience
At least 3 years of technical team management experience
Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
Proficient in natural gas and electrical-related technologies and Texas industry technical standards
Strong technical decision-making, construction supervision and problem-solving abilities
Excellent team management skills
Familiar with Texas natural gas project construction specifications and environmental protection technical requirements
Understand the technical review standards of local regulatory authorities
Preferred
Experience in technical management of local energy projects in Texas
Possession of US PE certification (engineer qualification) with extensive experience in technical plan review and construction technical supervision
Strong ability to work under pressure
