Responsibilities

Responsible for quality success on program teams in meeting contractual requirements and driving crucial quality related decisions for our customers
Collaborate with global partners to gather insights, resolve challenges, meet program requirements, and maintain consistent, transparent communication with customers
Improve production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes, and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel
Facilitate cross functional teams through problem solving activities. These activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & governmental interface, audit support configuration control, and traceability
Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes, and final inspection
Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective actions on complex issues
Reduce inspection costs and prevent failure-related expenses through statistical analysis and problem-solving

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering - equivalent training and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Proficiency with problem solving tools and documentation
