Responsibilities
Support and contribute to Block's strategic planning and goal-setting processes, partnering with senior team members to ensure effective execution
Help develop and maintain tools, resources, and processes that support company-wide operating rhythms (e.g., business reviews, exec meetings, board updates, all-hands)
Leverage AI to automate company-wide processes, such as annual strategic planning, strategic priority updates, and Board of Directors documentation prep
Partner with cross-functional teams across Finance, Strategy, Biz Ops, People, and Product on critical ad hoc projects
Conduct data analyses and develop frameworks that inform strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, and resource allocation decisions
Assist in the creation of clear communications that convey Block's strategy, business performance, risks, and opportunities to leadership and employees
Qualification
Required
4–6+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business operations, or consulting roles, ideally within cross-functional or fast-growing environments (Investment Banking / Corporate Finance experience welcome, but not sufficient on its own)
Experience contributing to strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, or resource allocation processes, with growing ownership of defined workstreams or initiatives
Familiarity with using AI tools or automation to improve analysis, workflows, or productivity, with interest in expanding these capabilities
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders, using data and structured thinking to support alignment and decision-making
Strong analytical skills(SQL, Excel) with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured insights
Demonstrated knowledge and curiosity about Block's products, ecosystem, and mission of economic empowerment
