Responsibilities
Design, build, and scale robust, low-latency, and cost-efficient AI/ML systems, including model training, inference, and orchestration pipelines
Collaborate with applied scientists to productionize research in LLMs, VLMs, and agentic workflows
Define engineering best practices for reliability, scalability, and security of distributed AI applications
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technical vision for AI-powered safety systems
Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of high standards, innovation, and ownership
Work across organizational boundaries, influencing partner teams and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Preferred
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
