Responsibilities
Turf maintenance - mowing and trimming grass areas
Sports field maintenance - field preparation
Facility maintenance - litter pick-up, restroom cleaning, and court cleaning
Preventative maintenance - small repairs and pressure washing
Horticultural maintenance - shrub bed and flower maintenance
Urban forestry - trail and tree maintenance
Facility repair - carpentry and other skills necessary to make repairs to park facilities and municipal buildings; and
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Washington State driver's license by date of hire and a driving record that meets City standards
Possession of a valid flagging card and an adult first aid/CPR card is desirable
Preferred
Experience in maintenance or other related work preferred
