Responsibilities
Design and execute end-to-end test strategies for complex enterprise workflows
Perform manual and automated testing across distributed and mainframe systems
Validate data migration flows from mainframe to distributed environments, including live mainframe testing
Build and maintain UI and API automation frameworks
Partner with cross-functional teams to embed quality across the delivery lifecycle
Balance POD-level priorities while maintaining a cohesive enterprise-wide test strategy
Define and track QA metrics and KPIs (defect leakage, test coverage, automation %)
Apply risk-based testing to optimize coverage under tight timelines
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for nightly and regression execution
Proactively surface risks and drive alignment on scope, timelines, and acceptance criteria
Qualification
Required
8+ years of software testing experience (manual + automation)
Proven experience building end-to-end QA strategies for complex systems
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (UI automation)
Experience with Cucumber / BDD and/or Selenium
API testing experience using Insomnia or similar tools
Strong understanding of mainframe systems, data processing, and migration testing
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Experience with test management tools (TestRail, qTest)
Strong experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong influencer, able to collaborate across Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to translate technical testing outcomes into clear business insights
Proactive in identifying risks early and driving cross-team alignment
